Theremin for Ableton Analog Instructions
Glide: Bends the oscillator’s pitch upwards by up to a full octave.
Reverb: Changes the amount of reverb applied to the theremin’s sound.
Vibrato Depth/Speed: Controls the amount and rate of the vibrato (pitch modulation). The more you turn these up, the spookier the theremin gets.
Hi Cut: A pure sine wave can be ear-piercing, especially at higher frequencies. This knob rolls off the higher frequencies of the theremin.
Filter: This knob controls the filter cutoff inside the synth itself; somewhere between 300 – 400 Hz usually works best.
Tremolo Depth/Speed: Controls the amount and rate of the tremolo effect (volume modulation). For when you need a little extra spookiness.
